Pilar Alessandra is a renowned screenwriting consultant, author, and educator.
Billy Mernit is a veteran screenwriter, author, and teacher, whose credits include both television and film.
Barbara Stepansky is an accomplished screenwriter and filmmaker, whose work has been recognized for its originality and emotional depth.
Our Location
Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, the Retreat in the Val D'Orcia is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wonderful hills. Our location is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
About The Retreat
Ten writers will work on their screenplays and pitch deck over the course of two weeks. During the week we will start our morning with an optional meditation session, breakfast, and structured workshops. After lunch, writers have the time to write all afternoon or request a one-to-one feedback session with the mentor.
Weekends are free for writing or exploring beautiful Italy.
